Who we are

Giftella is a small UK business, run as a sole trader. The quickest way to reach us about anything at all is hello@giftella.uk, and we answer every message ourselves.

Placing an order

Adding something to your basket is not an order. Your order is placed when you pay, and a contract is formed when we email you to confirm it. If we cannot fulfil an order — for example a product is withdrawn, or a price was shown incorrectly — we will tell you and refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and shown on the product page. Delivery is added in the basket before you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have paid.

Personalisation is your responsibility

We print exactly what you enter and exactly the image you upload. Please check the preview before ordering. Because each item is made for you, the right to change your mind does not apply — see returns and refunds.

What you may upload

When you upload a photo you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that everyone identifiable in it (or their parent or guardian, if a child) is happy for it to be printed. Please do not upload anything unlawful, offensive, or that infringes someone else’s copyright or trade marks. We may refuse and refund an order that breaks this, and we will tell you why.

You keep ownership of your photo. You give us permission to store and print it only so far as we need to in order to make your order.

Our designs

The artwork, characters, fonts and images on this site belong to us or are used under licence. You may not copy, resell or reproduce them.

Delivery

Orders placed before 12pm on a working day are normally dispatched the same day; later orders go out the next working day. Delivery times after dispatch are the carrier’s estimates, not guarantees. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. See shipping and delivery.

Our responsibility to you

If we fail to meet these terms we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of it. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses — we supply to consumers, for personal use.

Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has used your account. We may close an account that is being used to abuse the site or others.

Complaints and the law

Email hello@giftella.uk and we will reply as quickly as we can. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in its courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
